Whew — half a year down in this project. Now I just have to find another 6 months worth of subjects to photograph!We’ll start the back half of this project with the discovery of something old. As a kid I remember Dad eating marmalade, and I’m sure I tasted it as a kid, but something about the look and smell of it made it unappealing. So as a result I’ve never really looked for it all these years since. However, something recently prompted me to think about marmalade again (maybe it was used as an ingredient on a one of the cooking shows we watch), and thought then I really need to try it again. Fast forward to our trip to Minneapolis a couple of weeks ago, and our visit to the Hot Plates breakfast restaurant . My toast came with a couple of small containers of marmalade (nothing else), so I thought this was the perfect chance to give it a whirl, And no surprise really since I generally like citrus things, the marmalade tasted great. So Dad, I am now officially on the marmalade bandwagon, as you can see by what I had with my cereal this morning.
