While we were waiting at a railway crossing I took the opportunity to try out a slow shutter app that I recently added to my phone to get this streak of a train going by. It will be fun to try this app another time with traffic light trails etc. too.
Am I the only one who sees surprised faces on the wall plate whenever I plug in an electrical appliance??
One of my weaknesses is freshly baked crusty bread. And even though these were just those “take and bake” loaves from the supermarket, the kitchen had the delightful aroma of a bread shop while they were in the oven. You just can’t beat it.
Today is Anzac Day in Australia. And not there is any connection at all between Anzac Day and this photo, somehow taking a photo of reflections seemed vaguely appropriate.

The bathrooms at work are outside of our office suite and in the atrium, so while taking a “biological break” this morning I was struck by the great light and shadowing that you see below. To me it looked almost cathedral-like, particularly with the large arched window. The moire patterns in the carpet that either the app or the camera created just add to the effect.
Just a bit of fun today. Wandering around the backyard, the light on June’s “Paddy O’Padre” bird-feeder was nice, so I grabbed this shot. Then I partially posterized it and placed on this brick texture to make it look a bit like wall mural. Like I said, just a bit o’ fun!
